• Aaron Galeotti (my guess: it's Michael's brother?) has opened a profile on ModelMayhem with his photographs...featuring of course enation! He apparently did the covers for Where the Fire Starts and Soul & Story!Click here to see the pics - for larger versions, you will have to register.
  
• Genie Francis was interviewed by The Christophers, Inc. and she talked a great deal about Jonathan and it's just totally cute!!!!

It doesn't happen everyday that a young person bursts on. Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH) was fascinating to me. I just love when they have kids come on and just blow us away. It's fun."

• enation is doing another concert tonight in Tacoma, WA - as announced on their website

• According to this forum, The Dark is Rising may come out on DVD on January 29, 2008. As soon as I have the info if Jonathan is in any way or form on that DVD, I'll let you know!

• enation sent out an update on their upcoming new album which is supposed to hit stores (or their online store) in late November! In addition to a new album, they put together an album called "Soul & Story: Volume One" with stuff they've written which never made it on any other CDs. They also let us know that they are planning on opening a new and improved merchandise store! So check the their website time and again to see what's new!

• Okay, so I know JJ is not in the movie anymore but apparently no one told the press...here is an interview Jonathan did with Last Broadcast where he actually says some interesting things...I so wish his cut scenes will be on the DVD so that we at least can still see it in some way...
  
• There's an interview at Superheroflix, also at UnderGroundOnline or another interview with Alexander Ludwig, the star of the movie, where he mentions Jonathan very briefly...
  
• I also found this: The Seeker Trading Cards from Inkwork Cards which includes a little bit of JJ or at least his character...?

• There are actually some bad news to report regarding The Dark Is Rising: Apparently Jonathan's scenes have been completely cut from the movie! According to people who were able to see the movie in early screenings reported some major re-cuts, including the fact that JJ is no longer part of the movie. :-(( As soon as I have more accurate information, I'll post it. But so far, don't expect to see JJ in the movie, and I suggest you just boycott the movie entirely.
  
  ETA: here's a video clip from an interview with Ian McShane where he talks about the removal of Jonathan's character - I guess it's true then :-(
  (Btw, Ian LOVES Jonathan - small thing I know...)
  
  
• In happier news: Don't forget the concert enation will play tomorrow evening in Vancouver, WA - maybe someone can ask Jonathan first-hand what the heck happened.

• The Dark is Rising website has been updated...nothing spectacular but the logo for the movie has been posted and it looks AWESOME! See below. Also, it seems that Jonathan got third billing - yay!!!!
  

• Two days ago, Drew Tyler Bell, one of Jonathan's co-stars in The Dark is Rising, gave an interview in my home town Munich, Germany, to German TV station ZDF. You can read the [GERMAN] interview here. For those who don't speak German: he doesn't really say anything important regarding the new movie, only that he has been shooting it in Bucharest, Romania, for the last 3 months and that he misses his family. Yet he loves action movies, so it's all fun.

Fox-Walden Announces Start of Production for THE DARK IS RISING

Production has begun on THE DARK IS RISING, an action-adventure fantasy to be released September 28, 2007 by Fox-Walden, a new joint venture between Twentieth Century Fox and Walden Media.

The film's impressive international ensemble includes Golden Globe(R) Award winners Ian McShane (Deadwood) as Merriman, and Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) as Mrs. Greythorne. Christopher Eccleston (Heroes, 28 Days Later, Gone in 60 Seconds) has been cast as The Rider, and newcomer Alexander Ludwig will portray the story's hero, Will Stanton.

Also joining the cast are Jonathan Jackson (Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Insomnia) as The Walker, Amelia Warner (Aeon Flux, Quills) as Maggie, Gregory Smith (Nearing Grace, TV Series Everwood) as Max Stanton, Emma Lockhart (Batman Begins, TV Series Malcolm in the Middle) as Gwen Stanton, identical twins Gary Entin and Edmond Entin as the Stanton twins, and John Benjamin Hickey (Freedom Writers, Flags of Our Fathers) as Professor Stanton.

• WE KNOW THE MOVIE Jonathan will be doing in Romania! Thanks Gigi!!!
  It's called The Dark is Rising (apparently a BIG production!) and features some great actors such as Christopher Eccleston (currently of Heroes, formerly of Doctor Who) and my other fave Gregory Smith (he of Everwood). It starts filming in Romania on Feb. 26.

Gregory Smith and Christopher Eccleston have joined the cast of "The Dark Is Rising," 20th Century Fox and Walden Media's adaptation of Susan Cooper's best-selling books. Marc Platt and Ron Schmidt are producing the picture, which is being helmed by David L. Cunningham.

"Dark" tells the story of a teenager (newcomer Alexander Ludwig) who learns that he is the last of a group of warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the Dark. Traveling back and forth through time, he hunts for clues while encountering the forces of evil and discovers that the future of the world rests in his hands.

Smith is playing the teen's older brother, an edgy young man with piercings and tattoos who questions their father's authority.

Eccleston is playing the movie's villain, the Rider.

Also in the cast are Amelia Warner ("Aeon Flux"), Emma Lockhart ("Batman Begins"), Gary Entin, Edmund Entin, Jonathan Jackson and John Benjamin Hickey ("Flags of Our Fathers"). read more

• Jonathan is going to shoot a movie (!!!) in Romania later this year :-) - and in related news, Richard is currently in LA for pilot season --> Good Luck, Richard! I will post more information about the movie as I find it...so far, we're not sure which movie he'll be in...hopefully something good and big :-D
  

Jackson brothers have new CD

Battle Ground brothers Richard Lee Jackson and Jonathan Jackson have devoted much of last year to their musical career and to promoting their band, Enation. The group has a new CD, "Where the Fire Starts," that will be released in February. They'll perform in concert in Vancouver later this month.

But the Jacksons continue to pursue their acting careers, as well.

Richard Lee Jackson is back in Los Angeles this month for the pilot season. This is the time of the year when actors can snag roles in television pilots being developed for networks.

Jonathan Jackson has been signed for a movie that will be filmed in Romania later this year. He has appeared with Robin Williams in "Insomnia," and had the lead role in "Tuck Everlasting."

I wish all of you a very happy new year! Hope it will be really amazing and certainly even better than last year's---it can always be better, right? LOL

Sorry for having been MIA for so long but my life has been really busy the last few months and Jonathan's wasn't very public...so I figured it's a good time to focus on the real life for a while ;-)

However, I come bearing very good news :-D

• enation's next album will be called Where the Fire Starts and will be released on February 10, 2007!!!! Yay, something to look forward to!
